Deformation of Entire Functions with Baker Domains
We consider entire transcendental functions f with an invariant (or periodic) Baker domain U. First, we classify these domains into three types (hyperbolic, simply parabolic and doubly parabolic) according to the surface they induce when we quotient by the dynamics. Second, we study the space of quasiconformal deformations of an entire map with such a Baker domain by studying its Teichmüller sp...
متن کاملSingularities of meromorphic functions with Baker domains
We show that if f is a transcendental meromorphic function with a finite number of poles and f has a cycle of Baker domains of period p, then there exist C > 1 and r0 > 0 such { z : 1 C r < |z| < Cr } sing(f−p) ∅, for r r0. We also give examples to show that this result fails for transcendental meromorphic functions with infinitely many poles.
متن کاملEntire functions sharing a small entire function with their difference operators
In this paper, we mainly investigate the uniqueness of the entire function sharing a small entire function with its high difference operators. We obtain one results, which can give a negative answer to an uniqueness question relate to the Bruck conjecture dealt by Liu and Yang. Meanwhile, we also establish a difference analogue of the Bruck conjecture for entire functions of order less than 2, ...
متن کاملIn memory of Noel Baker ENTIRE FUNCTIONS WITH BOUNDED FATOU COMPONENTS
Starting with the work of I.N. Baker that appeared in 1981, many authors have studied the question of under what circumstances every component of the Fatou set of a transcendental entire function must be bounded. In particular, such functions have no domains now known as Baker domains, and no completely invariant domains. There may be wandering domains but not the familiar and more easily const...
متن کاملCoupled systems of equations with entire and polynomial functions
We consider the coupled system$F(x,y)=G(x,y)=0$,where$$F(x, y)=bs 0 {m_1} A_k(y)x^{m_1-k}mbox{ and } G(x, y)=bs 0 {m_2} B_k(y)x^{m_2-k}$$with entire functions $A_k(y), B_k(y)$.We derive a priory estimates for the sums of the rootsof the considered system andfor the counting function of roots.
